The photos just don't do it justice. This is the House of Kolor, Transparent Candy Apple Red over the Silver Spyder. Also, there is a hint of a cross on the front trunk. In person, in the sunlight, it is a very rich deep red. Here are some photos.

Congratulations...you survived another wait for your Spyder!

That's just a beautiful, rich color, Deb!

I hope you're pleased with the job--this sounds silly, but even the caliper covers seem to complement it.

(You'll certainly be able to find yours in the parking lot of BRP at Valcourt!)

That looks awsome!!!! Love the cross!!! So curious how much did that set you back? I also ordered the silver thinking I will get it repainted soon enough.

That's a truly fabulous color! My lovely bride has plans to paint hers as well, but we're loath to release Spydie to the paint shop during prime riding season -- maybe this winter we'll let her go!

Thank you all for your wonderful remarks. I do truly love this color on my Spyder. I just took it back to the painter for the rest of the graphics. We are trying to go a bit subtle. We decided that he would put the cross that looks like my daughter's headstone on the back fender. The cross will be wrapped with a white rose. Then we were going to do something to the front wheel fenders and decided that was too much and we didn't want to get gaudy. So we decided to put a flowing flower, rose bud type up on the sides of the center body. I will post when I get it back this Friday. I can't wait to show it off to everyone at Valcourt as well. Looking so forward to this trip.

Including the graphics that he is adding this week, I am paying $750.00. We took all the panels off and took them in to the painter. I don't know what the cost of shipping would be but he did say if anyone wants to ship panels to him he could do the work and ship them back. They would pack up easily and not be all that heavy I believe. If anyone wants his name or information, just let me know.

Well Ms.D
You have gone and done it now.
I for one will not ride with you!!!
Its a given that you'll be the flavor of the month and my plane Jane has to sit and watch the crowds around you.

I picked up my Spyder tonight with the graphics. The work is nice but I am a bit disappointed in the overall look. The back fender just isn't what I was going for. The rose on the cross is too large and I don't like any of the leaves on the sides or the rear. When I get back from Valcourt I may see if it can be changed or repaired or whatever. Like I said, he did nice work and the craftsmanship is excellent, it just isn't what I was expecting. If I could do over again, I would have the sides and rear done in the same style as the trunk was done. Had I known how nice the trunk would turn out, that would have been great. I will post photos in the morning when the lighting is better. I still love my Spyder though.

Hi Deb,
I know from what you described in chat that you wanted a climbing rose with vine on the cross, so understand your perspective. Still, this rendition is very unique and attractive.
Thanks for the photos.

Thank you everyone for the compliments. I really do like it and the graphics have grown on me. As bjt said, seeing them in the daylight made a big difference. When I picked it up last night it was dark and the lighting wasn't that good for a real look. Thank you again everyone.

Thank you. The windshield is an F1 from Marcel at www.spyderwindshields.com I have to fine tune it a little bit per Marcel's instructions and now I pretty much love it.
