First off let me say I'm in the process of acquiring a 2013 ST-S hopefully  in the next 4 to 5 weeks, I've made my deal chose my accessories waiting on $$$$$$$ to all get in place. I've been a Harley rider for 25 years but due to medical issues from the service (Navy) 2 wheels are not an option anymore, it was a sad day two years ago when I had to sell my V-Rod and Ultra Classic. But the sun has risen :2thumbs: Doc says three wheels are good to go, and the SPYDER is the way for me to go. Hope to learn a lot here at spyderlovers.com see y'all on the road!

You are one of the examples I share with people who rag on me for riding "one of those things." Maybe one day they'll get it.

Welcome aboard!

yep I've heard it before, but if you ride it don't matter what you ride, and I tried the Harley trike and well didn't like it too stiff.....

Here's a link to the thread mentioned earlier,
http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?41346-quot-Do-s-and-Do-Nots-quot-for-new-Spyder-owners
it DOES have alot of good info for any New ryders to the Spyder, as this machine DOES NOT ryde like any two wheeler on the road today, and takes a little getting used to ;) but once you do, MAN O MAN
:yes:Its Addictive

:2thumbs:Welcome aboard & we hope you ENJOY yours (soon) as much as we ENJOY ours :2thumbs:

What is this thing with the Navy and motorcycles? The navy was my primary health care provider too! My big problem was respective cubital tunnel syndrome from a using my elbows to much. I sold my GW in 96 and got the Spyder in 2011.

I was in JAX
