Starting a SE5 in gear.

I see repeated again and again that a Spyder SE5 has to be in neutral to start, even when the owner manual clearly states it does not. BRP makes you put your foot on the brake (I assume for safety reasons) and after the engine starts the Spyder will automatically shift to neutral. I think many people believe that it will shift to neutral before it starts which it can't. I did a test and manually shifted into 5th gear and started the engine to see what would happen. Here is the video.

As you can see it started in 5th gear just fine and shifted to neutral by itself.

It's no mystery to me. It is in the manual for SE5's; of which everyone knows few people have read! :roflblack: Mystery solved! :banghead:
