I've discovered that a vibration problem exists in my DIY suggestion for mounting the Nautilus on the RT.

This past weekend I removed the frunk on my RT for the first time and found a quantity of grey plastic dust around the slot in the horn which serves to steady the Nautilus at the opposite end from the bracket. It's this loose arrangement that has been allowing the Nautilus to vibrate and wear the plastic away.

Here is a set of photographs which illustrate the problem and suggests a fix using a plastic tie-rap. I used a 1/8th inch drill to make a hole for the tie-rap and pulled it tight against the bracket, as shown. This anchors the Nautilus good and secure and in doing so removes its tendency to vibrate.

1st Photo: Plastic dust.
2nd Photo: Drilling a hole.
3rd Photo: Tie-wrap.
4th Photo: Tie-wrap as 2nd anchor point.

Thanks for the update! After I recuperate from Spyderfest for a day or two, I'll dig in there and see if my installation is doing the same thing...since I followed your instructions to mount mine to begin with!!:D
Sure do like that horn, though...:firstplace:
