Wheel for an RT

I saw a photo of someone's RT that has this wheel mounted on their Spyder. Was there anything special done to make them fit? :dontknow: BRP only advertises these for the RS. No one really knows if this wheel will fit an RT?? Bummer!!:banghead::banghead::banghead:

The off set is different for the RS wheel, with that said the wheel will fit, put them on wife's 2010 RT/AC. You will have to use spacers to move the fender to increase the space between the tire and fender strut. I think they are available now through BRP if not get in contact with Len at Pitbull Motorsports.

F.P. nailed it! :thumbup: I think that these wheels were put on the tricked-out RTs that were sold by CowTown just a little while ago...

I have them on my 2010 RT and they work fine. All you have to do is put a 1/2" spacer
Between the fender mount and the spindle.

You need 8 spacers and 8 1/2" longer bolts. Look through the parts microfiche for an RS. They go between the fender bracket and hub/brake mount.

Just a friendly heads up from my truck parts counter days. Wheels are matched to the hubs and the bearings are selected by their ability to carry the load. A visiting wheel bearing wizard gave me the five minute FAQ speech on the hazards of changing front wheels on heavy dump trucks and how's and why's the customer could expect to experience shortened front wheel bearing run life.

Just a friendly heads up on something you can expect to experience and again you might reduce the load too. I never took the wheel offset and bearing load capabilities engineering course in college I was to busy chasing good grades in my specialty - sleeping in class.
