The Eureka Springs and Christ of the Ozarks ride is for Friday, April 26!
This is going to be a popular ride with a beautiful route starting at Duck stadium, at 10AM Friday morning.
Bring a camera for the spring wildflowers that should be poking their heads out, and for the town of Eureka Springs itself.
Eureka Springs is a unique town on the National Register of Historic Places, with lots of local attractions. While in Eureka Springs we’ll be visiting the Christ of the Ozarks statue, and somewhere along the line we’ll be making a fuel stop and a lunch stop, :bbq: since the round-trip length of the ride is 155 miles, give or take.
There will be more info and details coming, so keep your eye out for updates! If you’re interested in this ryde, please give us a heads-up by replying to this post! If you post that you’re interested, but change your mind, we won’t hold it against you – really! nojoke Just trying to get an idea of Spyder/Ryder counts for planning!

Will probably go, might include some more scenic routes with it. Jasper, Mt. Judea got some fun routes like AR7, AR374, and AR123 south of Mt. Judea.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Arkansas. There tons of great restaurants, local artisans, kitschy gift shops, beautiful homes. Eureka is known as the town "where the misfits fit." I highly recommend it! nojoke

Don't count me twice... I replied in the MO forum.

We will be there for the ride, it will be different to go to Eureka Springs from the West instead of the East like we usually do.

Are you going to Hardy as well?

I'm getting the feeling that Spyderfever (Dennis) and I are going to have quite a gathering!! :yikes: He's got a thread about this going, too!

Here's a few more pictures from last fall's Spyders in the Ozarks ryde. (Selfishly 'borrowed' by yours truly from macSpyder - Thanks!)

We're looking forward to a fun trip through the southern part of Missouri into the northern edge of Arkansas, and sure hope you'll join us!

Pete (KCPete) & Dennis (Spyderfever)

I'm getting well into SpyderFest mode already, and there's still 8 workdays left for me!! :gaah::gaah:

Spyderlovers:

Keep an eye on this thread!! There will be some updates coming in the next day or three, including the promised current headcount, (that I haven't done yet) to some guidelines for the ryde to include a tentative timetable for getting lined up, some basic group ryde hand signals, basic ryde procedures in case some one breaks down, etc. A number of us have been through this before, but it doesn't hurt to go through it again for those new to group ryding in a LARGE group of Spyders!:2thumbs:

Anyway, bear with us, please!! I'm still stuck going to work this week, and still have to get everything ready for next week! I'll be trying to get most of this info out in the next day or two, since many of you will be hitting the road before too long!
More updates soon - check this thread often!

KCPete & Spyderfever
