WOW! I really like the sound of that can! :2thumbs: Now I've got to figure out a way to convince the Missus that the OEM system is wore out and needs replacement! ;) Thanks for the video!

If you pull the baffles it has a real nice bark. They don't make it easy to pull the baffles though. :banghead:

LOL! Yeah, easier to cover the license plate with a rag than trying to edit it out in the video afterwards.

Looks and sounds great. Just a question on the tire pressures, yours seem to be much higher on the front and lower on the rear than the general consensus here. How did you arrive on those numbers? Factory is 16/28, you are at 22/25, quite different.

Akrapovic is an excellent exhaust!! Its the only exhaust I personally used and it looks great! Adding a Power Commander to the mix would also bring more performance and HP. Anyone looking for an akrapovic exhaust or power commander PM me!

I guess coming from a sportbike background, it is important to know what is going on with the front end at all times. Stiffer on the shocks and a little higher pressure seemed to be the sweet spot. Rear tire pressure I am still playing with.

Nice sounding pipe. Doesn't seem as loud as my Two Brothers, but definitely a sweet hum. I think I prefer it with the baffles out.

i put the hindle on and like the loudness but yours sounds good! IŽd highly've recommend these grips, HUGE difference.

Hi all,
I am thinking of buying the Akrapovic exhaust for my 2013 RSS, but I have some doubts.
If I buy it, it would clearly be to use it WITHOUT baffles.
With the baffles in, there is not a very big differnce to the stock exhaust (from what I heard; correct me if I am wrong) and this would not justify the high price here in Luxembourg/Europe (around 1100euro/1500dollar).
What I am now concerned about, is that cargasm reported on an later video on youtube that he put the baffles back in because he had a noticable loss of power/torque without baffles.
And this I wouldn't accept.
Does anybody here who has/had the Akrapovic exhaust installed has made a similar experience?
Thank you!
Greetings from Luxembourg :f_spider:

I had one on my 2013 STS and it did sound much better. BTW I still have this for sale as I pulled it off before I traded it in. If anyone is interested I will sell it for $495 including shipping within US.

More free flowing exhaust with less back pressure will take away from your torque
