They're a set of brackets that will relocate the top mounting position of the front shocks, to one that is more upright. Len will have them available during SpyderFest at his shop in Springfield, MO (PitBull PowerSports) 6585965860

Are shock relocaters are almost complete, we are test fitting the last 5 spyders this weekend with all of the MOGANG, once we are done and all is good! they will be ready and available at spyderfest first and then to ship out the world!! We want to personally install them on as many spyders as possible during the event and then we will be ready to ship them out!

I'll get there EARLY... and bring my own coffee! :coffee: I'd rather wait two hours at the front of a line; than an hour in the middle of it! :gaah:

I can put them on myself, as long as I can get my hands on a set.

:2thumbs: Did they soften up your preload when they were installed? :chat:

What's the real purpose of these?

I'm no expert.. but here's my monkeyed-up take on these... By standing the shocks more upright; they'll be less influenced by the preload settings; you should be able to run a softer preload (and softer ride!), while not getting that sensation of the bike leaning over onto it's handlebar end caps in the turns... BUT ... I'd sure love to hear a better explanation!

If that explanation is accurate, I'll be purchasing.

I have the Elkas and Ron's sway bar. RT seems to be riding perfect so don't know that I would need these. :dontknow:

I've got the same configuration under the front of mine. I'm hoping that they'll allow for a bit less preload, without re-introducing all of the "leaning"...

He's saying he hopes he can now reduce the spring tension on the shocks for a smoother and more comfortable ride without the side effect of the Spyder leaning too much when turning at speed. To reduce lean with the OEM shock position you have to have a rather high spring tension which can result in a more bumpy ride. One of the expected benefits of the shock re-locator brackets is to address this issue.

Pro, Thanks for the helping hand... I couldn't figure out a way to re-state what I was trying to say, without repeating myself... :opps:

I just made Jim put the shock adapter into his computer so he could sell me one over the phone... I'll have it on by the weekend.

See you next Wednesday.

Adaptor and Backing off the spring tension?

Just wondering if two different ryders with two different settings(they are equally happy with) will be able to back off the spring tension the same number of clicks, or will it require each of them to find their new 'happy place' setting?

These are the kind of things that we're all going be be finding out as the relocation brackets hit the streets.
