Don't know if this has been posted before but I just couldn't help myself after hearing that motor sing. Check this video out. That thing sounds absolutely wicked!:yikes: I don't think there are VSS systems on it like the spyder so getting it loose could be deadly. Just can't get over that sound. It's truly music!

PMs to Doc, Forrest and a couple of other folks in here will have you on one in short order! But since this is a Spyder forum; we don't actively talk a lot about them... But I DO agree!

Sounds like an F1 car and has 175 HP. Cool, but too much not like a bike.:doorag:

Except... not. This thing's still not for sale here, right?

I've heard of a couple in Europe, but even then, this thing strikes me as ridiculously boutique (not to mention expensive), like buying a T-Rex, only rarer.

You'd have to ask the experts about that... ;)

Sounds cool...more like an Indy car than an F1 car to me.

I'll stick with my Spyder, though.

Me too! I just can't imagine the ugly mess with getting that thing loose. Scary thought. I sure do wish the Spyder sounded like that though. That and the power...Yummy!

I will have to pass since I did not win that 300 million powerball jackpot. People think service on a Spyder is high, wonder what serivice on this would be ?

Very cool ride....but right now it seems unrealistic. I was about to pull the trigger on it, but then pulled out once I thought about how nearly impossible it would be for me to service it or have anyone to work on it if something went wrong. I didn't want to assume that a bmw motorcycle shop could work on it.

And unless Doc knows something, you can forget about your insurance company putting coverage on it. I had a hard time getting a company to recognize my Spyder and it's been here for 6 years and made in the states....

That's not a starting price, that's an ending price, as in "We can end this conversation right now, no one is paying that much."

Ahhh...very observant grasshoppa! Are twin pipes even considered a "farkle" at this point? After looking at what everyone else has done to their machines I thought that the exhaust is just "standard issue"! Does that mean that I'm a "farkler"? I would really like being a part of the "in" crowd! No matter how feeble my attempts are at doing so....:barf:

Well they did mention a figure in this review from 2008 that I always find while looking for road going quads on the net.

Yea, without the p1x tips in it's like sticking my head in a :cus:'d off German Shepherds mouth. Gotta keep that "bark" tempered somewhat. Need to hear my riding music ya know?

But I refuse to drive something that costs more than our three cars and the roadster. Where would you park it. I'd be afraid to let it out of my sight...but then if I could afford it I probably wouldn't care...!!:roflblack:

Actually - Can-Am Spyders are built in BRP's main production facilities in Valcourt, Québec, Canada.
