Joanie and I took a ride through Cuivre River State Park (which happens to be our back yard) yesterday, and it was beautiful! Almost 60°, partly sunny, and a great day to take our pics for the SpyderFest cards. Vista Print has really great deals if you want to make up a batch to pass out to your new friends from SpyderFest.

Less than 24 hours later, this is what we have in MO. It's 3:00 PM and we already have over ten inches of snow. It's not expected to stop until after 6:00 this evening.

Since there's nothing better to do than to watch it come down, we might as well sit in the hot tub and enjoy the view and a few cocktails.

We'll see you at SpyderFest and hopefully it won't be snowing!

My stepson was the star scorer for IC in J'Ville. He was 9th in the history of the school, which is well over 100 years old! I'm originally from IL. moved to MO. in '86 for GM.

Not quite so bad over here on our side of the state...after warnings and forecasts of another 6-10", ended up with about 5, then it warmed up just enough to clean off the streets, and start getting sloppy!
Supposed to be 40's most of the week, so shouldn't last long. No hot tub, but made a 3 gallon batch of venison chili in my biggest cast iron Dutch oven over charcoal this afternoon! Yummy! Vaska (Glass Spyder) & hubby came over with a banana cream pie for my birthday! A good day all the way around!
Nice picture of you guys! See you in a couple weeks!
