Gee... We just had another thread going around in the General Discussion area about this.
While a lot of us questioned the need for one; there was actually some good pointer given about battery isolators and some of the other parts that would be needed to make it work.
Look back through General Discussion; it's all in there...

I understand that the place is s top rear carrier but do not want to hold it in place long-distance travel

I traveled through Scandinavia traveled 6000 km and is clearly not enough space for luggage

it's in the trunk?

Left saddle bag. Right on the side of the stock battery. You need an isolator too.

I'm not sure if you do need 2. That being said, when i was buying, the dead battery syndrome was in full force on here. I saw what Lamont did and had Len put an extra one in mine. Same location.

#1 Never had a dead battery
#2 Never have it on trickle charge
#3 It has sat for weeks with no use and starts right up.

Is it because of the extra battery? :dontknow:

I will now go out int the garage and make sure I didn't piss off any of the gremlins by jinxing myself and start the bike :pray::pray:
