Well, we've been waiting . . . and are still waiting .... for the arrival of the ST-Limited.

When I called today, I was told by our dealer that BRP has stopped all ST shipments -- and he was told not to sell/release any of the ST's he has in inventory -- until they had a fix and sent out replacements for bad ball joints (I could be wrong about the part).
:yikes:

(Sorry if this is old news, I searched but couldn't find this addressed anywhere.)

We just got our ST-S back from the dealer with the new ball joints installed under warranty and it fixed the problem. No more twitching and wandering down the road. We were told they think the ball joints were to tight and the power steering was over compensating.

Welcome, and glad it is taken care of.

I agree about the Recall. It is for the lower ball joints. I just did my first service and the Service Manager asked me to phone them in about three weeks, when they expect to have the new parts in. He said that the upgrade would result in a significant improvement in handling. I am glad to hear that he was not exaggerating.

I'm a 1st time caller here but last Friday I put a deposit down on a white ST-L which is being held in Canada until the new ball joints are installed (according to the dealer). He made it sound like even with that it would be in soon, like this week. This thread has me thinking that might be optimistic.

(It's a bummer because we head back to our Iowa home on the 15th. Was hoping to get some ryding in before leaving for about a month). :(
