Eureka, Arcata, McKinleyville - Humboldt County, CA $4.39, 4.49, $4.59 and diesel $4.33
One company here barges in the gas and delivers all the gas...so we are usually the highest. They sock'it to us.
Gas is usually cheaper in the middle of nowhere than here.

Don't worry. I heard they are working on solar panels that fit on a helmet and you can ride almost 5 miles with two of them.:roflblack:

Gas prices is Ottawa this past week hit $1.30 a litre, there are 4.45 litres in a imperial gallon, a US gallon is approx 7/8th the size of an imperial gallon, that means we allready pay over 5 bucks a gallon for gas, it is the price of doing business or having fun, it doesn't concern me too much I fill up no matter what the price, I just wish the tank was bigger so I wouldn't have to do it so much!, I don't have to worry too much right now because Colorado is Air Mailing Canada lots of snow.

Where is the middle of nowhere? My GPS can't find it and it's not on my map.:roflblack:

As we head for MO for Spyder Fest, we will (again) be nowhere in the middle of nowhere probably in the desert of Utah or Nevada somewhere. Just because a name is on the map doesn't mean there is a town (maybe a rickety building or five) but not gas stations or restaurants, etc.
We 've seen lots of nowhere's before. Maybe I'll take a pic?;)

Can't work at Wall Street...too busy getting ready to ride when the weather permits (although the money would be nice). ;)

We also have a Nissan (Rogue)...wanted a Murano but the gas mileage wasn't what I wanted...how is the mileage on a 2011 Murano? Everywhere here is 20-150 miles to somewhere. :sour:

Reg. is $3.29 in Albuquerque, NM. We are usually among the cheapest in the nation, not sure why. Wasn't but a few weeks ago that it was $2.89.

All prices in general are going up. Gasoline in lower Alabama is $3.67, diesel $4.00 a gallon. Go to the local grocery, hardware, and so called discount store, everything is up.:banghead::mad:

My car is a Chevy Volt. I only buy gas every couple of months and then I probably get less than 6 gallons. Getting ready to buy a 2013 ST Spyder, so that will be my gas guzzler.

Once there's enough electric cars on the road , The Owens will have bring them in once a year, So the Government can see how many miles they've driven and send them a bill [tax] for the loss of road use tax that they would be getting from the sale of Gasoline. nojoke

We have a 2009 Murano, LE AWD. Right around 20 in town, 23-25 hwy depending on how much of a hurry we're in.....
It is extremely comfortable to drive, which is especially important to us.

Yeah, that's coming. Right now we are basically not paying the gas tax - or at least not much of it.

But I do take some road trips - after 40 miles of electric I still get about 43 mpg with the Volt on gas. It's kind of funny the car will get better mileage than the Spyder - but that's ok. I'm won't be relying on the spyder for transportation - but I will for fun.

The mileage is good with the Murano if you can keep it under 100KLM (60MPH) on the highway, wish it were better in the city!

Our gas price is $2.29 per litre, which converted to 1 gallon is around $10.30 per gallon. Which means if you fill up when the light comes on is over $40.00.
But I love riding my Spyder and have just organised a New 2011 RSS Magnesium for my partner, so we will have Twins and double the fuel bill. But I cant wait to get out and ride whenever I get the chance.
