Just a heads up. We'll be bringing the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall to Goldsboro April 16th. It will be in place for display from April 18-20 at Wayne Community College on Wayne Memorial Drive. We will be escorting the Wall from South Boston Va. Projected route is down 85 to Durham, through Durham to 40, 40 east to 70 then 70 east to Goldsboro. We should be arriving in Goldsboro around 3:00. There will be some short stops along the way. I hope to have more info confirming the route within the next few weeks. If you've never had the opportunity to see this display I highly recommend it. This is not just a replica of the Wall, there are videos, pictures, letters and other memoribilia. There will be an opening ceremony with guest speakers Including Col. Joseph Marm of "We were soldiers" fame. On Sunday there will be a closing ceremony, again with guest speakers including Col. Jeannie Leavitt of the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson AFB. Col. Leavitt was the first female fighter pilot in the USAF and is the first female fighter wing commander in the USAF

Most commendable. Good luck with the travels I know the turn out will be great. I think folks are finally appreciating all the sacrifice and the poor treatment our guys got for that...thanks...:2thumbs:.
