has there bin a fix for the blinker switch,when i change lanes it takes me 5 or 6 times pushing the button in before it will turn off.:gaah::dontknow:

Push straight in, hold for a half second, release. Works for me anyways.

Practice ,practice is the only way. I went through the same as you. Like learning to play guitar, you keep looking at the string and fret until you familiarize it. Good luck , be patient and ride safe.:yes::yes:

it hard to stop the blinker when i am not moving,when i am moving down the road with bumps the right one shuts off easy but the left blinker is a bugger.i will keep working at it. thanks folks

You n me both!! I try to push it correctly ??? And end up making it go to the other side!! My hubby laughs at me!! But with a glove on it doesn't alway work :)

You can try the technique described, push the button in and hold for a second, or simply wait.
After a couple of years and over 20K miles, the switch seems to wear itself in.

Hi All,

I finally got the switch changed by the dealer on Friday, it is now working great signaling right and LEFT, but the off is as terrible as before.

:popcorn:You got lucky that your dealer even has turn signal switches to use. I been waiting going on four or more months for my 2011 RTL It is interitmitant on LH urns

I have the same problem. With me it is a short between the switch and the seat.

I also use the half-second method to cancel the signal when it does not do so automaticly.
