My son gave me one. I wasn't familiar with the story about the bells until he told me about them. Very nice!

If you see a fellow biker without one; it's a nice way to make a friend!

Legend has it that Evil Road Spirits have been latching themselves on to motorcycles for as long as there have been bikes on the road. Th
ese Evil Road Spirits are responsible for mechanical problems and bad luck along a journey.

Legend goes on to say that by attaching a small bell onto your bike, the Evil Road Spirits will become trapped inside the bell where the
constant ringing drives them insane, making them lose their grip until they fall to the ground. (Ever wonder where potholes come from?)

Legend also has it that the mystery of the Guardian™ Bell carries twice as much power when it is purchased by a friend or loved one and given as a gift.

Show someone how much you care. Offer them defense against the Evil Road Spirits! Give a Guardian™ Bell and share the Legend of Good Luck it offers to a motorcycle and its rider!

I'm new to the bell thing. Where do you hang them?

Mine hangs from the zipper pull inside the RT PE 0288 frunk and a guardian angel in the glove box. On my son's RS I gave him a bell that he has in the frunk.

Mine hangs from the license plate; but they work better if they're hung lower...

You are supposed to hang the bell low on the frame and then keep the bell clean.
While you are cleaning it you are reminded to look for drips, loose links, frayed wires and other potential problems under the bike.

That's what I heard.:dontknow:

You can buy the bell at most motorcycle sales departments. My daughter purchased mine at the Harley dealer. I think they are about $12.95 US. They have different sayings on them. Mine says Live, Life, Love.

Just for fun...
I contacted a couple of places out here on the 'net that produce and sell them; asking if there's any possibility of a run of Bells with the Can Am Spyder on it...
I'll keep you all posted!
