The front end looks like a Studebaker.. Not sure of the year however, 59-60-61...

Looks like a 64-66 Chev PU cab, maybe a 59 Buick rear end and the front end I'm thinking around 59 Dodge.

Looks like a Chrysler product to me, but just cannot remember which make or model it was! Maybe 1961 Chrysler 300??

Fluffy

Was it an Edsel?

Definitely a Chrysler product. Maybe an Imperial around 1958-59.

Lincoln continental, I saw one yesterday at a Country Store in Beaumont, MS. The movie Second Hand Lions kin folks had one.

I also bet on Chrysler Imperial.

Mo Lee

I stand corrected 61 Chrysler front and maybe the same rear with different tailights, still stick with 64-66 Chev truck cab.

How about a Chrysler Windsor circa 1961? What do I win?

Here is a link to a picture http://flic.kr/p/8GiJ71

Now I changed my mind and think it is a 1961 DeSoto

It would have started out as a 61 Chrysler. The 62's had the same front end but lost the tailfins. ;)

I was wrong on the car from Second Hand Lions, it was an Chrysler Imperial, but this cool car is a 1959-60 Lincoln Continental.

I'm probably wrong on the Lincoln, it is probably a chopped up 1961-2 Chrysler Newport.

Roof line looks like a Ranchero, '57 or '58, with early '60s Chrysler front and rear sheet metal. Oh yeah, and a HEMI.

61 Chrysler 300G and who knows what else... Could be a pickup in there somewhere because the cabin area is not right for the sedan. Maybe a 60's era Chevy cab?

1964 chevy truck

Based on the grill and headlight configuration--I am voting with those who say Chrysler and probably the 300 model.

Studebaker.....Mike

I don't think either the Studebaker or the Lincoln had the slanted headlights. Seems to me the Lincoln dual headlights were stacked vertically in the earlier years and I'm not sure Studebaker made a dual headlight car.

BajaRon

I don't think it is a Lincoln either, but they did have slanted headlights.

Ok, you're right, they did have slanted HL's on the Linsoln. It's the grill on the subject picture that says it's a Chrysler. And the Edsel had horizontal dual headlights, if I remember correctly.

It IS a '61 New Yorker with '61 Dodge Polara taillights grafted in....and a 64-66 chev pickup roof

DaveThanks, but I had an advantage since I've owned this one since 1977 and have redone the body and paint myself at least 3 times.
