I know this is not a vendor on here but ordered a pair of the Can Am Spyder riding boots off of the site http://hondaeastsuperstore.com/store/search.aspx . They have them for 58.99 no shipping and no tax. Size 8-12. I figured I would share this to help save money for a fellow spyderlover out there.

No amount of searching has showed boots of any kind, much less Can-Am :( ... can you provide the exact SKU / part number?

That's a great price. Has anyone tried these? My question to those that have, how is the sizing, do they run small like the rest of Can Am's gear?

In the search engine on the top right type in "Can Am spyder" and it will bring up all the items for the Spyders.

This is our other site besides our main website. We usually try to post as much spyder product that is currently available by BRP. If it is not considered a 2013 part number then we can discount it. If it is 2013 or newer (already have 2014 part numbers out) we must obey their MAP (minimum advertised price) policy. Thanks for spreading the word guys!! :2thumbs:

Ed and I both bought a pair of Can-Am boots at Spyderfest last year and LOVE them. They actually run true to size, unlike the clothes. He bought a pair initially, then we ended up riding in the rain a few days later. His feet stayed warm and dry, whereas mine (in leather ankle high boots, with water running into them from my socks! :yikes:) were wet and cold. When I asked if his feet were dry and he replied yes, I told him we were buying another pair of boots when we got back to Cowtown. (We had previously purchased Can-Am waterproof gloves and they were definitely NOT waterproof!) The boots were a little stiff for a few days (almost like walking in ski boots) but otherwise comfortable. The price in this post is a fabulous price...we paid around $120/pr last year, I think. Len was wearing the Can-Am boots last year at Spyderfest, if you need another opinion about the boots.

Hmmmm ... great price, but a bit confused about what size to get. Normally, wear a women's 9.5 (about a men's 7.5) in USA terms. Since there are no "half" sizes, I'm thinking that an 8 is probably what I should consider. Can you confirm? :hun:

If you get boots a little bigger than your feet, you will have room for extra thick socks. This will help to keep your toes warm on late and early season rydes. A little trick us snowmobilers like to use.

Right now we are in the winter season and a majority of our stock is winter jackets/bibs. We may have some can-am gear on our sale floor but it would be very limited right now. However we can order you whatever you would like that is can-am (if its still available from BRP).

We are overwhelmed with the response to the boots from all the members here. You guys cleared out our stock that we had in store (definately a good thing). Some orders will have to be ordered direct from BRP. Dont worry they are still on the way. Also if you are still hesitant on pulling the trigger on this great price you should decide quickly. BRP's stock on these boots are getting low and once they are gone they are gone!! Thanks again everyone!!!

I bought a pair of the Can-Am boots size 9 several weeks ago. I went with a 9, as some of my shoes are 8 1/2 and some are 9, depending on the brand. The boots fit great, especially with thick socks that I wear this time of the year. Very comfortable and waterproof.61535

I ordered a pair. Normally wear a size 9 but ordered a size 10 to allow room for wool socks. The size 10 are a tight fit (width wise)...no room for wool socks. These boots are not available in other than normal width. Took them to a shoe repair business to see if they could be stretched (wider) and was told they could not be stretched because of the thickness of the leather used to make good motorcycle boots. Business owner suggested I remove the insoles to provide more room which I did. However doing so made the boots even more uncomfortable without the cushioning from the insoles. Being winter riding boots I thought the boots would keep my feet warmer than my laced boots but they didn't. First time I wore them it was on a PGR memorial mission when it was snowing and temps below freezing. Needless to say my feet were cold and was wearing Under Armor cold gear socks. Next time I wore them was also during a PGR mission...no snow but cold and had to stand on concrete while in the flag line and my feet were cold and sore on the bottom since I had removed the insoles. I'll keep the boots and perhaps wear them when I am just going to ryde with no plans to stop and do any (or minimal) walking or standing. Maybe they will stretch out a tad by just wearing them. Still looking for a comfortable winter ryding (and wearing) boot...any suggestions?

I am sorry to hear that you have had issues with these boots. I am a size 11 1/2 EEEE. I ordered the size 12 boots and have walked around the house in them for about 2 hours, three times since I got them. I assumed when I looked at them that they would not fit because of my freakishly wide feet. I have been very comfortable in them, but then again I have not been standing on concrete which is totally different. My advice is to put a little saddle soap (mink oil, or whatever else you think will soften and protect the leather) on them, warm them up by the wood stove and then put them on and walk around your house. This should help, as there is always some room to stretch when it comes to leather. Let me know how it works out for you.
Regards,
Chad

Sorry to hear that you had problems with these boots. I orderd a size 9 because that is what I wear. When I first got them I found them extremely hard to get on but once I did they were amazingly comfortable, or so I thought. I went for a three hour ride and came home early because the pain had me pretty much in tears. The left one is way tight on the top of my in step and was killing me.

Soooo. I took them and stuff them tightly full with towels and left them in a warm place. Now when I wear them I use men's nylon dress socks instead of the thick athletic sock I was using. They feel great now and I love them. Since I don't see a lot of cold I believe that they will be warm enough for my purposes used in this manner. I will invest in some wicking socks and call it good. I expect that by wearing them and the weather heating up they will eventually relax to a position that will allow me to wear thicker socks.

I hope some of this helps.

I purchased these boots for cold weather ryding, but unfortunately my feet still get cold even with Under armor Cold Gear socks on. They are also, for me, not very comfortable to stand in and walk around in for More than 10-15 minutes. The only time I wear them is when I'm going ryding and don't plan on stopping except for gas or a bite to eat so I don't have to stand or walk in them for any length of time. Can't wear them on PGR missions that involve a flag line since standing in them is akin to torture.

For the sale price offered--you cannot go wrong with the CanAm boots. We discussed this a bit in a previous thread--so will not repeat.

For me, I wear 7 1/2 and always order my boots a half size larger. I use the talcum powder method to get the tight ones on and wear them for a couple days to get them broke in. They don't get much break in when your just riding.

I would be all over these, but I have 5 pairs of assorted riding boots now, ranging from engineers to Euro (which the Can Am's resemble).

I would love a pair also but I don't see any in my size :(. I need a size 7 in female.

I wear an 8.5 or 9 . I ordered the 9 as I was afraid the 10 may be a little loose. As mentioned in this thread, the boots are a standard width and my foot is a D width. O.k. they were a little snug but I removed the insole (it is not very thick anyway) put on thick socks and used a blow drier to heat up each side and walked in them till they cooled then done it again. believe it or not they did strech out enough to be comfortable even with the insoles put back in. The only way to get a good boot to fit is to ware it and it will form to your foot, just ask any cowboy :coffee:. Now to get ready for the riding season (spyderfest first) I am waring them on and off just messing around the house, getting better every day. I'm happy.

I have the same Canam boots and find them to be very comfortable. They seem to be true to size. Those are a good buy from Honda East.

These boots are still available in sizes 8-12. Treat yourself (or someone else) to Genuine BRP Can-AM boots, a perfect way to start the 2013 riding season!!

That's a great price. Has anyone tried these? My question to those that have, how is the sizing, do they run small like the rest of Can Am's gear?

I bought a set of size 9 from a vendor on here, Honda East, I think. They have a good deal on them. First I must say I really like them. When walking around in them they feel like slippers. Riding my bike with athletic socks on caused me a lot of pain. So I went to dress socks and things improved a lot, except for my left foot. Then I took the insoles out of them and all was good. The left insole measures 0.125 and the right one measures 0.057 or one is twice as thick as the other and that made a huge difference in my case. Weird how there would be that much variance. Bottomline is I now love them.

I live in South Carolina but will be in northern Ohio next week. I plan to stop by your shop on Thursday or Friday. Am looking forward to seeing you place. Do you stock Can-Am gear (shirts, jackets, etc.)?

and they have THE MOST Can Am gear in stock by far of the four dealers I have been to. A big inventory of other brand gear, too. I ordered the boots - a great deal and fast delivery.
