We rode the Polar Bear Run yesterday and I think we had 12 spyders. It was 25 degrees when we headed out and got all the way to 39 degrees by afternoon! We decided to do the Momma Bear route of 67 miles. It took us into the snowy & icy Sw Washington. We are true believers of the capabilities of what this bike can handle! We navigated some very treacherous roads with nothing but solid ice in the twistys and down and up steep hills. Never did a wheel spin! I was leading and we all took it very slow and steady on the throttle allowing us all to end with a safe ride and a much greater confidence on what to expect if we find ourselves in the same conditions in the future! We had a videographer from RealpeopleTV.com filming the day from breakfast to pizza at the end. He filmed from the window of a truck, rear bed of a truck & from two different spyders. What great day!
