We are going, but will be trailering our Spyder. We are going a day or two early to get some work done on the bike at the new shop. I hope you can make it. We went last year and had a blast.

We are going. Made our reservations last night at the Econo Lodge. We tried the Comfort Inn, but they don't allow pets, so it's the Econo Lodge. This will be our first time, planned on going last year but had to cancel. We live in Brighton, so if you're looking for someone to travel with let's make it happen. Another couple from Lake City is planning on going also, and we were planning on traveling together.........maybe it will be three Spyders

Do you plan on riding or are you going to bring your bike on a trailer.

As of now we are planning on riding down. We are looking at making Spyderfest the first stop on a trip that will take us the entire length of Rt.-66 to L.A. where we will pick up US-1 (coastal hwy) to Seattle, Wa. From Seattle we will pick up US-12 and follow it all the way home. As I stated those plans are just in the early planning stages, but we will drive the Spyder to the Spyderfest. It would be fun to have a group from Michigan hook up and travel together to the Spyderfest. We have reservations at the Econo Lodge because we will ahve our two Maltese pupppies with us. Our reservation are for us to arrive on the 23rd.

Paula, I am planning a two day trip. I think we should start a list of all from Michigan going and see where an equidistant meeting place would be. I'm sure someone if not myself will make sure you have a riding partner(s)

thanks have u made reservation. I am thinking of staying in Bronson only because I can use a time share week there but I need to know soon it is about 30 40 miles from Springfield. My husband and I are going.We are from Grand Rapids Michigan.We are leaving the 22nd staying over in Illinois for the night at Bestwestern.Then in the morning on our way to Springfield staying at Baymont Inn and Suites for the week.

It might be a good idea to meet as a group during January/February, have lunch or dinner to coordinate the trip and meet other riders from Michigan that you don't know..Artesian Wells, right next to Town & Country Dealership is a nice meeting place where we've met quite a few times in the past. It's only 14 miles from us here in the Jackson area but if anybody's coming from a long distance and wants to remain overnight, we've got 3 extra bedrooms that you're more than welcome to use.

Cindi & I are planning on leaving the 22nd from Jackson, spend the night at the Best Western ($58.49 room rate) in Effingham, IL which is 374 miles from Jackson,

My plan is, leaving from Fenton, MI weather permitting on the 22nd and stopping in Effingham, IL and staying at the Best Western. On the 23rd I will be stopping on route in St. Louis to have lunch with a friend then on to Springfield. A Goldwing friend was going with me but he is talking about backing out. Another friend wants to go but will not know if he can get the time off of work until the week before. In Springfield I will be staying at the Best Western from the 23rd checking out on the 28th.
