I changed to the Kuhmo Ecsta due to the improved wear characteristics (reports of over 21,000 miles and still going from fellow Spider riders). I have run it now for 4 months in all weather and all speeds and can honestly say I can tell no difference between the two. It is also considerabley cheaper, I had it mounted for 110. I cannot recall the exact cost without mounting but it was around $90 or less.

Hello,

I would never buy Kenda tires again! The quality is poor (out-of-balance ==> lots of counterweight needed) and the price is much too high.

A lot of SpyderRyders in Germany are unsing the Toyo T1R ==> Link (http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/proxes-t1r-ultra-high-performance-summer-tires). So am I.

Kind regards from Germany,

Doesn't appear that the Toyo T1R comes in 225/50/R15 anymore

Blue - who mounted your rear tire? Did you remove the wheel yourself?

Thanx
