Anyone have any experience or opinion on these toy haulers?

Just started looking but it's the first one that appeared in my search. Seems affordable at $100k for such a nice motor home/ hauler.

Opinions/ advice appreciated.

We bought a 2007 Damon Outlaw in 2010 and have made two long trips in it since then. We have love it, we have the Workhorse power train, and the Spyder fits in the garage just fine, we have added so cloths bars to the garage and add a better mattress. If you will hold your speed to 60 to 65 you should get around 7 to 8 mpg, but if you like to run 70 you may only get 5 to 6 mpg. If you have any more questions, please fill free to ask.

We have driven it to the last two owners event and we was also at the last spyderfest, and with luck we will be at everything again this year. We are also hoping to make SITR this year.

When Ed took Teddy & I on a tour last year, he had to actually remind me to close my mouth before bugs flew in, I was just AweStruck:bowdown:

That's a beauty!
Question: Can you fit both Spyders in the garage; or is it one bike at a time?

The Garage is 8' X 10' and one :spyder2: takes up most of the area. We have a 7' X 10' v-nose trailer we will be pulling behind for the second :spyder2: or DocRags will have to ride her :spyder2: from place to place. We will just have to see. I'm thinking we will take the trailer along with us no matter if she rides or not. When I get out of the hospital, will look for more pictures of the Outlaw to post.

8'x10'... http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_12_12.gif
It MIGHT work.... but it's too close to call!
Can you get the first one in as far as possible and the get the second in reversed? "69"
Or; drive them in at an angle... this time nose-in first for both. You'd have to slant them in enough to use up the extra length within that 8' width...

one being a GS with Givi Bags and the other being a RT, I don't see any way to get them both into the garage. But I think Peoriafirefighter can get two GS without bags into his 8' X 12' 5th wheel.

Are those GIVIs removeable? http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_33_8.gif

On an RS or ST, not only the bags themselves, but the brackets are, too. Unfortunately, Corbin bags on an RS are not...nor are the RT bags. Sorry if I mislead you Bob. Ed and Cheryl don't have a way to narrow things. Nancy and I do so to fit things in, but it has to be a bike and her RS (with the bags removed). I can't get the RT in beside it, even in a nine foot space. I tried that in the garage.

Just thinking that narrowing up the rear of one of the bikes might make enough difference to help...
