Anybody paint a sport rack and back rest? How hard is it?

I'm not a painter but I've DIY'd quite a few parts on a lot of misc machines that have come nice. However, just looking at my rack/backrest I can't imagine it being that easy of a job. There are a lot of "nooks and crannies" with that combo. Especially with the backrest....

I'm sure a pro could get it done and it would come out nice but it doesn't look like an easy job to me...

I believe that Bytemi was going to paint hers...
I'm not sure if she actually did or not; why not PM her about it?

Consider media blast and powder coat. With the nooks and crannies it will be a "pain in the back" to hand sand and prep. At least media blast it even if you want to spray bomb it yourself.

Thanks. It didn't look so easy to me either

My wife did her about a year ago with some alcohol, painters tape and black spray paint. It looks great and she didn't disassemble or sand it.
