After putting together the fall color photo slideshow, I came up with the idea of putting together a SpyderLovers.com Veteran's Tribute Slideshow. If interested, veterans can post a maximum of 1 or 2 service related pictures (to this thread) which you are willing to share. I request posts include the following optional information:

1. Your SpyderLovers.com username
2. Your branch of service
3. Your dates of service
4. Your current or final rank
5. Location of where photos were taken --Note photos can include supporting family members!!

To enable everyone to contribute, non-veterans can post their 'one' favorite patriotic picture of their Spyder with a US flag in the photo along with any short message to our veterans. Veterans members can also include 'one' patriotic Spyder picture along with their 1-2 veteran pictures.

Deadline for submissions will be midnight (EST) on 10 Nov 2012. Afterwards, I'll finalize the slideshow and post early on the morning of Veteran's Day. Please submit your post as early as possible so I can complete majority of the slideshow and will only need to wrap up and post it on Veteran's day.

By limiting the number of individual photos, I'd like to keep the slideshow to 1 or 2 patriotic songs. Also, if you had any suggested songs, please feel free to make suggestions!

If you have any questions, comments or concerns regarding this project, please send me a private message.

Thanks!!

57076570775707857079SL = Oldmanzues. I served in the USAF from Jan 1955 to July 1983 and retired with the rank of SMSGT. The Badge is from Tiawan in 1959-1960. The Chinesse did not recognize The " Air Police" armband, most Air Police wore, so the badges were made locally.
The photo is from around 1957 at Eglin AFB, Fla. The Spyder photo, if it comes out is as I am a very active member of the Patriot Guard.
Thanks to all the people who have served and are now serving to protect this Great Nation. Freedon is NOT Free.

Please, feel free to post... Tribute will be for all Veterans that are SpyderLovers.com members. Just being a Veteran and a Spyder Lover is suffice! No Spyder required! :doorag:

I don't know how to post pictures. I served in Army Combat Engineers 1960 to 1962 in MDW (Military District of Washington) during the Berlin crises. Personally met President Ike and President Kennedy. Wouldn't take a million dollars for the memories.

Thanks to everyone for all the awesome pictures and posts.... I wasn't sure how many SpyderLovers would be willing to contribute and I was overwhelmed by the amount of contributors and pictures submitted. I know the original deadline for submission was by midnight on 10 Nov 2012; however, in order to keep the tribute slideshow to a respectable amount of time, I won't be able to add any additional material at this time. I'm truly sorry if you had planned to contribute to tribute; however, please continue to share your photos, stories, and information on this thread! We would love to see them!! I'm wrapping up the Veterans Tribute Slideshow and will post it as soon as it is completed. It's been an honor to be among such a fine group of dedicated men & women and proud to have served with you!!
