Judy and I were out yesterday having a beautiful fall day ride. Heading down the highway doing maybe fifty or so MPH when
up in front of us a truck pulling a boat pulls out. I guess the guy didn't tie down everything in the boat because all of a sudden a
big float came blowing out of the boat and with no time to miss it. Well lets just say I heard a big pop as the Spyder went over it.
I wonder if Harvey had this in mind when he developed the bump skid plate? We're fine but lets just say it got my attention real fast
when I seen that thing coming right at us. Held tight and straight on path with no problems to us or the Spyder. Just sounded like
the Spyder was letting off a little gas :roflblack::roflblack:.

Glad you survived without any damage to Spyder or riders.

Well I found a small problem but easy fix. Seems the float took wires for LED's and gave them a good yank as it passed under the bike.

Without a doubt I was questioning his grade level as he drove by:dontknow:. But the eyes where getting :yikes: as this float came at us.
I'm guessing he lost a couple hundred dollars that day. Just reminds me more to expect these things to happen and stay on
your toes.

It could have been way worse like others have said. You could have been "drowning" in your sorrows had something bad happened. I'm glad you were able to remain "afloat" on your Spyder.

Glad everything went OK with your close encounter.

You can tell it's boating season here in GA in the Spring as you drive down the Interstate
and see life preservers along the road. That's why I have a boat cover on the boat going to and from the bodies of water. I want to keep my stuff in the boat and not on the road and a hazard to fellow motorists.

What can I say? Thanks for keeping stuff in the boat and not flying in the air.
