Does any one know anything about These hitches (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110963831845&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123#ht_2283wt_908)

Looks like it attaches to the rear fender supports. Run far away from these. Fender supports have been breaking off all by themselves since 2008, without the weight of a trailer on them.

I have been running with no rear fender since the Chicago owners event. We had it duct-taped on for the 3 days home. Bought a BushTec hitch after that and been running fender free and towing a trailer ever since.

Check this one out...It's not only cheaper but intstallation is a breeze...Connects thru the rear axle and can be put on or taken off in about 5 minutes...The seller also has a direct wire harness for $39 and it's a straight forward direct plug in to a standard 4 wire plug. I've had it on my rS
for 2 years now and absolutely zero problems..

I looked at the parts list and it looks like it supported by their brackets and not the Spyders fender brackets. It may be a way to haul light loads. Here's another RS hitch www.ebay.com/itm/Can-Am-Spyder-RS-Trailer-Tow-Hitch-/330518357006 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Can-Am-Spyder-RS-Trailer-Tow-Hitch-/330518357006) . I'am going to look into them.

On the OP I contacted them and it'll tow 550lbs (gross). But I wasn't able to find a parts list.

That being said I do like Hawkii's offering though.

While in principal it looks like a good idea the fender support brackets are the weak point. If you were to create some new brackets out of Kryptonite it would work great.

@Ga BK, I got the impression that the one I found comes with it's own fitting kit and doesn't use the existing (chocolate) fender mount.

I really like Littlebadwolf's offering best though. I might chase that one up.:thumbup:
