I was getting a check transmission message on my dash and the SE5 was exteremely hard to shift. I took it to the shop and it appears to be something wrong in the wiring harness. to the tune of $410.00. has anyone else had this issue.

I had the same problem. The error code was p0826.

To check the codes do the following:
1. Turn ignition key on
2. Press mode repeatedly to show engine hours on display
3. Start engine and run until warning is displayed
4. Press and hold mode button while pushing the "flash high beams" rapidly five times. If not completed within 2 seconds, you will have to repeat the complete procedure.

Fault code(s) will be displayed or "No Active Fault Codes" will be shown.

If you have the p0826 then is it the paddle shifter, I got mine replaced under warranty. (Bought the 2010 in Jan 2011)

If it is throwing a different code then you can look it up here with the forum search.

How long ago did you get it replaced.
