Bob,

We're taking the spyder to Kingston, NY on Thursday and I was wondering what exit/route would be good for traveling a scenic route?

Hiya Wylie!
Get yourself to Route 8 and head South towards Deposit
When you get down this ways a spell; keep an eye out for Rte 206. It's a left hand turn and heads into Walton. (beautiful scenery here)
Take 206 on out of Walton and follow it to Downsville.
Go on through Downsville on 206
(now it gets fun!)
You'll be on 30/206...
You'll see where 206 breaks off to the right towards Roscoe... DON'T GO THAT WAY!
Stay on 30; it'll take you North to Margaretville, and Rte 28
28 will take you right to Kingston!

Looks good. I got the 'road atlas' out and it looks pretty straight forward.

Thanks

Straight forward on the twisty roads?

I didn't give that much thought.

Bob?

My bike is heading for the shop to get the throttle position sensor issues sorted out... :gaah:
It's the first chance that I've had since August to get any work done on it.
We've also got that big Parade here in Town that's going to muck up our roads for a couple of hours, so if you guys were heading this way... reconsider!
But at least I'll have the bike back for the rest of the riding season this year! (If I can avoid the Subarus!)

Straight forward on the twisty roads?

Giving this a second look, what I meant was, the directions were easy to follow. I actually do not know if the route has any twisties. We'll be riding 3 up; so, any twisty will be taken slower than normal.

The Missus and I are always prowling the backroads...
