I had left the :ani29: outside while we did some errands in town. Coming down the driveway it looked like someone sprayed yellow paint on the Spyder. :yikes: Turns out just to be low sun angle reflections.:opps: Lots of relief when I got close and color disappeared. 54330

Wouldn't it be neat to have a phase-change paint that could do that all the time in those colors?

I'm glad there wasn't any damage, but to be honest, there are a bunch of people on this site that would pay good money to make their spyder look like that.

I saw somewhere they had paint that changed color under different temps. Thought that would be nice. Blue in the winter, and green in the summer...

I'm sure your heart was pounding as you approached it...but it is pretty cool looking in the photo you posted. Those darn reflections!!!

I'm also thinking that a a paint scheme like that is worth some investigation... http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_12_12.gif
Glad to hear that getting your heart up in your throat was only temporary!

You should have it painted that way. You'd have the only custom spyder that color.:D

There are phase chage paints that change with viewing angle and others that change with temperature, but the color selection is very limited. Normal primary colors don't seem to be available in that technology.

Saw a true 'Chameleon' paint job once. Was cool to walk around the plane and watch the colors change.

Would love to get some flip-flop paint on Spydee somewhere.... black and purple...
