I don't know if you guys remember when I said I was done? Guess what I love the new front fenders on the St. I want a set. Lamont. do you know if they will fit the brackets in the "old" models? Thanks

The new wheels are 15" so the ST fenders are not going to look right on the existing front wheels.

The overall diameter is supposed to be pretty darn similar; I think that they'd probably look and fit just fine... IF the mounting hardware matches up!

This is copied from what Fred Rau said about the fenders

o The new fenders serve a specific function. Bracingfrom the outside allows removal of the inner liner and the resulting closerproximity to the tire reduces aerodynamic drag by approx. 8%; which in turnimproves fuel mileage by a field-tested 3.2% - roughly one extra mile pergallon.

I do have 15" already.

This answer my question. I guess I have to buy the bracket also.

They DO offer those finders as an accessory for the Spyders that still have the old-style fenders... It sounds quite do-able! :2thumbs:

Also both the RS and the RT entry models have "older" looking fenders on the front if you look, and the RSS and RTS / RTS LE have the new fenders, so I am guessing they are interchangable.

Sorry Bob, I am still learning to read, I will check #7 later when I learn to count.

$648 + paint for the pair.

If they do add 1 MPG average, you could have them paid for in about 4500 miles, theoretically. (Calculated on only the cost of the parts, not including the paint) It might actually make some sense.

Then it soulnds like it might be a worthwhile addition! :2thumbs:
Who's gonna be first to try them out?

Here's what may be a stupid question...yes, yes, I know...will the new adjustable handlebars fit on the older RT's?
