First off I want to send a big thanks and shout out to Reggy from TricLed. His products and customer service are second to none! Also thanks to Raw Design for the slip ring design. This project has been a blast to work on, a lot of fun, and most of all I'm proud of it because I DID IT MYSELF. That's the biggest thing. I've never wrenched on anything in my life, no mechanical skills at all, so this project has given me a dear sense of accomplishment. Thanks to any who view and comment on this thread....means a lot to me. I love this forum and all the help you guys have given.

I took my bike straight to the police department and told all the officers to come outside and look at it. I said to them if it's illegal here, I'll take it all off. They told me I was fine and that no cop here in MS would mess with me. They also asked me if they could borrow it. :firstplace: All the cops were standing around it drooling begging to ride it.

Question: How'd you get power down to the hubs, and then out to the spokes of the wheels?

With a slip ring. The wires from the wheels are connected to a slip ring, and the wire to the battery is connected to a brush pad that allows the slip ring to spin on it.

I would get that in writing and Notarized and sign by a local judge. Just because one

cop says its ok. And keep it in your wallet. The next cop may give you a hard time

about the lights,ha ha

hey Kratos this might be the best looking rss out there. Doing the work yourself is quite possibly the best feeling you can have, I hear it all the time when im at a show. Im an artist(Stone sculptor) and i hear people say..I wish I could do that and I ask Have You Ever Tried and they look at me like im crazy. If you never try something how do you know you cant do it, you taking on this electrical task is just plain AWESOME:bowdown::bowdown:. Again I love the way this thing looks and yes I have to to talk to Reggi and work out a plan for my rt. Good work:clap::clap:

Words can not discribe your talent in design and creating this work of art! we all applaud you:yes: But your finest compliments will come later in the appreciation of some one trying to EMULATE your lead. I think many will agree this will be a challenge for the next person in line thiniking of how to light there bike.

Even though I am a NewBe here and without a :spyder2: at this time. My mouth is drewling for the new ST-S and with it a few ideas for lighting.

Can you provide a better discription and picts on your slip-ring and push pin connections for us?

Amazing! The video of the wheels turning made me grin ear to ear. It's bad enough now, I can't imagine how many people will be weaving in your lane because they're shooting video of you while driving on the freeways. Really awesome work!
