Lee's Retreat opinions

I am planning a trip to Richmond and we are going to be renting motorcycles to travel Lee's retreat path. The question I have is does anyone know if it is a tricky ride on a 2 wheeler, I havent ridden one in a few years (love my Spyder) and was wondering if it is a tough ride. I couldnt find a Spyder or Trike to rent and dont want to miss this opportunity. Any feedback would be appreciated
