The San Diego Ride for Kids to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is coming up October 21. Last year we had the largest Spyder turnout of any of the other 41 rides nationwide. We had more Spyders than another single manufacturer represented. This year I know we can do better! Plan early, let's all do what we can to help fight and find a cure for childhood brain tumors.

I first did this ride two years ago and it changed me forever. The strength and bravery these kids show when faced with such tremendous challenges is unbelievable. This isn't just another charity ride, we get to go out and ride with these "stars". They ride in sidecars or Spyders with the rest of the riders on a short, slow route through San Diego county, escorted by Law enforcement. What kid doesn't want to go for a ride on a motorcycle?

Come out and support this very important cause.

You can go to:

for more details.

Or email me at: SRASanDiego@gmail.com

Thanks
- George

This is a very good event held all over the country and was also held in Los Angeles this past May 6th. Unfortunately cannot attend this event, but look forward to future events. Have a great turn out! Please share the photos here!

Thanks TicketBait, we will miss you!
I promise I will post photos!

The PBTF and the Ride for Kids do a lot to help kids and their families deal with the many challenges that a brain tumor can present. Often we see these issues from the outside we see the effects that the patient has to deal with, it can be a devastating condition for them not to mention the rest of the family. When that patient is a child, that often can not comprehend the symptoms or the treatments it takes on a different twist. I have had the special chance to meet some of the bravest and strongest people since my first Ride for Kids event, kids that face every obstacle with a determination and fight that most adults could not muster.
This ride gets these wonderful kids and their families away from doctor visits and hospitals for a few short hours and and puts them on the road to feel the wind on their faces. The smiles you see on those faces when they return from the short mildly paced, escorted ride will change you forever as they did me. I made a promise the afternoon of my very first Ride for Kids; as long as I can ride and even after I can no longer ride myself, I will do whatever I can, to help these amazing kids.
