Ken,
I understand that the can-am aftermarket is basicly a slip on unit with no computer remapping needed.
With the exception of the collector pipe will the remus just slip on?

I am interested in dual exhausts. Tell me more. Also, please remind me, what is a Lojack?

Lo Jack is a transmitter which is placed in a secret location on your vehicle. If the car or bike is stolen, it can be activated and sends a constant signal to any police agency with a Lo Jack receiver to reveal its exact location. The only weak point in the system is that the police need to have a receiver, and not all police services do.

I would like to see dual exhaust exiting just below the tail piece like a sport bike.

Even though :agree: it would look better, I'm not sure it would be a Good idea to run the pipes like that,I'm sure as wide as the spyder is in the front it prolly has More tail wind than a CBR sports Bike!

What I'm getting at is I've read Many post were the CBR,RR Sports Bike riders have been complaining about the Fumes Coming up the rear of the Bike, bad enough to even Stink up there Jackets :( so the pipe down low were the fumes get caught up in the wind turbulence and carried away may be the best Design layout  :doorag: that May even be the reason they put the pipes in that location to start with :doorag:

I ordered on from Ken but have not received it yet. As soon as I do i will post my opinion but I do like the looks of the new one shown that has the X on it. The round one isn't for me though.

I just spent the better part of 4+ weeks working with Ken to get one of his Leo Vince dual setups.

Let's step back...

A year or so ago he had done maybe a half dozen or so that from all accounts got rave reviews.

They were not inexpensive and from what I can gather reading the posts from him here and elsewhere his margin was not all that great and given the time he had to spend on it plus issues with securing a quality welder when needed he just decided it did not make business sense.

I was able to convince him to do "just one more" for me - not that I am anyone special. He agreed and actually never asked for a deposit even though I offered. To make a long story short it was - as they say - deja vu all over again for him getting the right mandrel pipe pieces and a quality welder.

We finally agreed that he would sell me the parts - kind of in kit form - and I would deal with the mock up, welding, coating, etc. That has been in process for a few days so I have nothing to report or show.

The bottom line for me is that Ken was great to work with even thogh you might think I woudl have grounds to be pissed. Remember: I sort of talked him into it at bascially the old price and he never asked for a deposit.

I cannot speak for Ken, but if this works out for me perhaps he could be persuaded to provide a kit instead of a final product. Looking at the parts the whole game is mocking up the cans and pipes, marking where they need to be trimmed, and finding a welder who can do about a half dozen butt welds and rpep them for ceramic coating (if you go that far).

Pete
