Wife just bought a 2010 RT-S SE5 and we pick it up next weekend. Her question is....can we adjust the brake pedal so it sits up higher than the pegs ?
If yes, is there a video somewhere that shows me how ?

Thanks

Contact John at Seal Floorboards. The kit includes a 3/4 aluminum shim that goes under the brake pad. It will raise the brake pedal up about 3/4 of an inch. I am guessing he will supply you with the shim and mounting screws separately from the floorboard kit.

She needs to be careful if she does this. "Riding the brake", that is putting slight pressure on the brake pedal without actually applying the brake, leads to fault codes and limp mode on the RT. You have to be sure your foot doesn't accidentally contact the braake during normal riding.

(It's been a while since I've crawled up under this side of the bike... :opps:)
Isn't that connecting rod threaded so that there is some adjustability regarding it's length? That would give you the option of changing the height of the pedal.
Scotty's caveat CANNOT be forgotten though...
