Recall Alert - Brakes

My dealer just called. Seems that BRP has notified dealers to call all SPYDER owners and advise then NOT to ride thier SPYDER. They offered two explanations. #1 is that BRP has prototype units with 80-100,000 miles on them and they tore them down to see what parts wear and look for other problem areas. #2 they found air in the brake lines. My dealer is picking my SPYDER up friday morning. They also said a BRP rep will be calling me to explain what is happening and what they found. I will post updates as I hear more. My dealer in Phoenix called this afternoon and said that the would be picking up my Spyder on Friday to address a recall issue involving the brake system. They said to not ride the bike until this has been resolved.
