Since my M109 loses a lot of HP from the crank to the rear wheel through the driveshaft, I was curious to find out the HP loss with the belt drive.

It would be less and the Spyder hp is rated at the wheel. :doorag:

that would be us. we have a lot of experience with high output rotax engines so we are just applying the same ideas/techniques to the spyder. one thing that i still question is where the horsepower rating is referenced - wheel or crank? i know of no other manufacturer that rates the power at the wheel so how do you know that the power rating is at the wheel? and if this is the case, what is the rating at the crank?

been trying to find that answer myself lamonster might know where it came from your stuff looks great. dyno numbers coming soon?

I believe I read it too maybe in a magazine that sadi it was 106 at the rear wheel.
