We went for a 2 hour ride the other day and used the GPS for the first time. AS we got on the rode I noticed that I could not see the screen. We stop and adjusted the brightness to the max and started down the rode. Still could not see the screen. We stopped again, to check it out, and realized that I was wearing a white t-shirt and it was reflecting off the screen. Lesson learned. NO WHITE T-SHIRTS WHILE USING GPS.:banghead::roflblack:

I have a silver/gray and a safety yellow jacket that both cause the same problem with GPS and gauge cluster. Not a complete white out but hard to see.

Ever wonder why bikers wear black tee's? Oil stains and glare

you want to put a hood on the GPS it will stop the reflection I was wearing white t-shirt today no issues

RBNS Hood (http://www.priushood.com/gazu660665su.html), there $30
Its a hard shell hood so it does not fold like the Glare Stomper, but the hood attaches/detaches in seconds with velcro. It looks a hundred times better and looks OEM.

It shades the screen with out making it hard to view and fits perfect. Highly recommended.

What kind of GPS are you using? I'm just wondering if maybe some are made better than others or what. I have a Zumo 660,
I sometimes wear black T-shirts and sometimes I wear white T-shirts. I have never had that problem. Seriously,,, is it possible that some GPS's
might have a non-reflecting screen or something like that? Just asking.

I have a Zumo 350 mounted on top of the dash and with a sand-colored jacket and under certain sun conditions, it is sometimes very hard to read, even with brightness at its max setting.

Interesting plug. Does the male part mechanically locks into the socket, or is it friction that holds it ?

Very different from the 12V plugs that are available in the US. Appears to be excellent for MC use.

it is Doc - if you have different vehicles (seadoos-skidoos-quads..) you can always use one GPS-System - works with bluetooth & "speaks" also with the car-system .. small cars but intelligent !!
