Hello all from Michigan, well it's that time again for the 5th annual Camp Hope poker run. This run is hosted by the Amvets Chapter 48 Riders in Desota MO. Aug 25th, sign up is 0830-1000 and breakfast is available starting at 0700.

This ride benefits Camp Hope which is a rereat facility for disabled combat veterans loacated in Farmingtom MO.

The day is approaching. We and Spydermonkey4 had a good time last year and are planning to go this year if everything works out!

All bikes and trikes were welcomed. I seem to recall some pretty good food too!

We took a tour of the farm and it is an amazing place to help veterans who are paras, quads and amputees get together to hunt and sit around a campfire with fellow vets and counsellors who have similar challenges. The cabins are all 100% wheelchair accessible, and we got to see the humble original building that has grown to several cabins. Each dedicated to a fallen soldier. An amazing place for sure.
