Hi,
I was wondering about the can am tailbag for the factory sport rack. Is it worth purchasing. It looks like it is very small and wont hold much?? How did you mount it up?? For day tripping....it might be a little more convenient than using the frunk for odds and ends??

Thanx, Clay

I looked at getting one but it seemed so small.

Installed my sportrack last week then bolted on a Givi baseplate. I can now click on my Givi 42 litre top box whenever I want & have effectively doubled my carrying capacity.

Didn't hear back from you...assume it went well...congrats...that's a great addition...you'll love it...does yours have the 'light strip', and if so, did you add it?

Hey Clay,
I have it and haven't mounted it up yet. Might not even do it. The quality of the bag is very nice. The bag itself is very nice for sure. However, It is very small. It's about the size of a tank bag and won't hold much at all.
Mounting is even worse....there are plastic cam buckles that your supposed to mount/rivet to the outside of the bottom cover on the rack. These buckles stay there all the time even with the bag off.
I think the bag mounting system could have been better designed.
If I use it I'm going to figure out a different way to mount it.......

No it doesn't. It is an old monolock one that did not have options. I do have an LED lightstrip that I used on my Silverwing scooter that I will probably install. It flashes for 5 secs when the brake lights come on, then stays on. It is really bright & catches your attention..

I want to do the Givi rear case on my RS. Can you supply the part numbers for the base plate? Any tips on installing this would be helpful if you are up for it. Thanks in advance for any help.
