Did you notice in the owners manual Lamont that it states "NO TOWING"? It also says your passenger must be sober so that leaves out being a designated driver.

I think pretty much every bike manufacture says no towing. Now if you had a trailer you could put your drunk passenger in there. ;D

Well I guess they forbid it as it affects the handling computers.

That may be but I don't think that would matter that much other than maybe braking. I tow a trailer all the time with the 109 and I never even know it's back there other than if I have to brake real hard in a turn, it will tend to push me some.

I really need to take a good look at it structurally and see if that's going to be a problem. I know that Bushtec has put trailers and hitches on just about every bike known to man. :doorag:

I think if a Harley with 60 hp can tow a trailer the Spyder should do just fine with 100+. :doorag:
