Besides the 225-50R-15 size, what other size would fit, and would my Spyder still handle the same? I'm looking at two different high mileage Michellin's ,but they don't have the recommended Spyder size. Anybody used any Michellins?

If you hit one of those online tire places; www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com) for example... Just plug in the size that you want and they'll bring up all of what's available.
I'm running a Falken ZE 912 on the rear; so far, so good!

Be careful of your choice of tire. If you pick a different size of tire you run the risk of having trouble with the ABS brakes, traction control and stability control.

So... have you found something that sounds interesting yet?

Thanks for the tire chart, it's very interesting. I'm looking at the Michelin HydroEdge for a rear tire, because I have 19,000+ on my rear, and I need new rubber soon. Michelin's nearest size is 215-60R-15, which I hope won't cause any computer problems. I only know of one rider using these tires, but he's having good results and no problems after 8000+ miles. I'm easy on tires, so I think I should be able to get 30 to 40,000 on this 90,000 mile tire.

Sounds like the 215-60R-15 wouldn't be too far from the OEM, and shouldn't give any problems.
