We have to watch out for back bears here in Western NC. I almost hit one coming home the other night in my jeep. I was very awake after that.

Is Franklin getting geared up for the rally next weekend? I will be in Toccoa, Ga. that weekend for the Ga. Christian Motorcyclist Rally Maybe next year.

An older gentleman from up my way hit a bear in NY state and wrote the Spyder off two years ago. His wife is still recovering from the accident .

The rally may be a big flop or even be canceled due to constantly changing location, unable to get insurance, etc. The site they have now is outside of the town limits (just of the exit for Hy 64 ans Sr 28 where they hold the Shriner's carnival and the gem show). Since the site is outside of the Franklin town limits, they can't sell alcohol, but people can bring in their own (what a disaster that will be).
