I don't ride a bicycle, I should, but I have been watching the TdF competition in France lately and have to remark I envy our European Ryder's. What spectacular scenery! I envy the Ryder who won that European trip!

Wouldn't it be terrific to go to France for the TdF, be able to follow them through the countryside for the full tour while ryding a Spyder. Now that would be a "tour de force". Might decide to never return....

Wifey & I have been to France twice to drive around the Alps & Pyrenees & all places south of Lyon following the routes of the TDF. It was fantastic.

We watch the TDF each year & can now get it in HD. A beautiful country that is well taken care of.

It sure is pretty country! But... let one of those boys take a spill in the middle of the pack and the announcers all start sounding as if they're ringside at the Hindenburg disaster... :yikes:
