The new Silver Dream engine was proper break-in in this 5,600 miles trip to and back from Durango. The new RPM "sweet" spot is about 6,500-7,500 where the power/torque curves are increasing constantly @ 8 psi from the Aerocharge turbo.

Glad to hear you're getting good reliable results. I may do this in the future.

When are you going to let us in on a "WFO" report?

Turbo pistons (compression from 13:1 to 8.5:1) with the dome ceramic coated and underside coated with thermal barrier, impregnation of the skirts, pin bores and ring area with a dry film coating, change the intake, oil pump (4X) and clutch, add fuel management system.
Oil: only Castrol 20W50.
Fuel: Premium or Premium/C16 mixture 4:1.
Aerocharge turbo: max.12 psi.

Thanks Doc. No. I'm not trying anything on mine, I'm just inquisitive.
Doing anything special with the valves...?
You mentioned changing the inlet.....pray tell....(if you can).
I used to take great pride in polishing and swirling inlet tracts and exhaust passages getting rid of any discontinuities.
Are you having to do ceramic coating at the inside of the exhaust pipe.
Didja heer that Mazda are ceasing rotary engine production....wonder what Patrick Dempsey is gonna do now.
