Very nice. I did my Saddlesore on the way to SpyderFest. San Diego, CA to Amarillo, TX. the thing that suprised me the most was that after 4 hours in the saddle, my body settled in for the long haul and almost all my pains went away. course I also went from near 100 degree temps in El Centro, CA, to 51 in the mountains of AZ. haha Good Luck.

I did 1566 miles in 27.5 hours on the way to durango,co from dirt town thru mobridge, SD.

It is not all that enjoyable but it is quite challenging which is what makes it fun.

at the 24 hour mark I had 1389 for miles. I was slowed down for time with my buddy in mobridge,sd.

I think if I was going to do an ironbutt I wouldn't want to do it on I95 up the east coast. You should get an extra award for going through DC and NYC.

Barbery! Being a long time Ironbutt member, the 1000 and 1500, and the CC's are not bad, just remember to not fool around on your gas stops. Fuel up, take a leak and keep going. Drink lots of liquids, and keep granola bars, peanuts, or a quick energy snack handy. No big greasy hamburgers or meals are the order of the day. Remember, don't push yourself beyond your limits for bragging rights. Enjoy and have fun! Guzzi:thumbup:
