I was getting ready to add another LED light for my licence plate and when I unpacked the LED I saw where it had a switch and a nice little battery pack prewired to the lights. I decided to use the prewired LED as a trunk light. It was a real easy install and all I had to do is drill a couple of holes for the switch and to run the wires. It does a nice job of lighting the inside of the trunk and it's a very clean install. The lights are pretty cheap and you can find them at any auto parts store.

I installed an LED light. It takes no installation. I am still on the first set of AA batteries, and you simply press it for light. If I need a small portable light I remove it from the Velcro and put it back when done
I guess I used the K.I.S.S. system for this project.

I had one of those too but I guess I left it on and ran the batteries down. This one has a spring loaded switch so that won't happen. Whatever works for you, this is just one other option. :doorag:

Picked up mine at Auto Zone ($15.95) last night, and will install after work today. Great idea for a simple solution.

Do you have a manufacturer and part number for them?
I'm not having any luck with my search. :opps:

Just finished the install on the LED rear trunk lights. I installed both the LED's one on each side. I also removed the rear seat backrest, it made it easier for me to drill the holes.
