I am taking my RSS in for the intial servicing and installation of parts and have the following questions.

1st: As it pertains to the Tire PSI and Fox Shocks.

There are umteen references to the suggested adjustment of the RS Shocks being set to 4-5 to stiffen the ride. Does that also apply to the Fox suspension?
If someone can please provide direction regarding their suggested Tire Pressure and Fox suspension for the RSS as I will request of SnowCityCycleMarine (My dealer) to adjust accordinly.


2nd: I have purchased the Sports Rack and Back Rest. How does the Cowl work in conjunction with the SportsRack when the BackRest is not in use? How does it look?
Anything I should be aware of?


3rd: I also purchased the Zumo 600 from RadioWorld here in Toronto. I also ordered the GPS Support (Via the BRP Store).
I've read threads regarding certain inabilities when it comes to installation of GPS units. (Typically attributed to RT models)
Will the standard Zumo 660 with BRP GPS support be good enough for use on the RSS?
* Looking to use the GPS w/iPhone for Calls and to Communicate between myself and my wife when riding 2up*


Any other suggestions are always welcome!

Start with the settings recomended in the owners manual. The front tires 15 psi, rear tire 28 psi (cold tire pressure). The shocks at what ever your weight is. Experiment with it and see what you like. I personally hate how the steering feels when the front tire pressures are above 17 psi. Some road irregularities causes the DPS (Dynamic Power Steering) to react cuasing me to make more steering corrections. You will get a lot of advice to go higher but try it for yourself. I have set the rear tire to 24 psi. I find it has more grip and I find that the rear tire is breaking traction less on take off.
Many people will recomend setting your shock springs stiffer. I think this is to reduce body roll, but this reduces the performance of the suspension ( rougher ride). Get used to the body roll or get a bigger sway bar.

the release handle goes under the seat , you pull it and off pops the cover , you place the backrest on , push the handle in so the backresr locks into position ,, and do the same to put the cover back on .. super easy .

i havent felt the need to adjust them -- if they were the resivior type like i thought they were -- definatley not top of the line fox podiums like they are made out to be.

i like the dial in shocks -- very easy .. you can adjust everything to your type of riding in seconds.

other than easy to adjust , you can tell a huge differance between the RS and the RSS ---- way stiffer front on the RSS .
