gs footrest brackets . not equal distance , please help.

Installed ESI footrest brackets on my gs, but for some reason if you measure the distance from left and right to rear of front fender, this is almost 1.25 inches different, with the left bracket being closer ? Anyone else experience this and if so how did you fix it ??????????????? please help.

I was looking these brackets a few minutes ago and it looks like the mounting holes are pretty much fixed. Is the bracket off or the links that adjust the peg location off.

all the mounting holes line up with the spyder, just don't get it.

NO OTHER SPYDER OWNERS have encountered this problem ????????????
