Hi all
I saw and heard a lot of positive comments about the Sena Bluetooth headsets, so at Spyderfest I bought a dual set. They work fine, but the speakers will not stay in the helmet. There is a thin piece of plastic that is velcro like on one side and smooth on the other. The velcro side stays in the helmet, but the other side will not stay on the speaker. It looks like it was glued and the glue is still stickie. Every time (every time) either of us remove our helmet the speaker falls out and is hanging by the wire. The little piece of thin plastic is stll in the helmet. Anyone else haveing this problem? Does anyone have a fix

Thanks

steve

Go to a fabric store that quilters frequent. They have some Velcro squares that will stick like you can't believe. You'll need to cut them to size, but they really work.

+2  Wipe that speaker down with an alcohol swab before trying to stick the velcro to it...

I too bought the Senas at Spyderfest. Very good comm set. First time I got a phone call it kinda freaked me out. "Whats the noise? I don't see no flashing lights." The phone call was virtually crystal clear and better yet, the other party understood me very well. I put the mic at the corner of my mouth and no wind noise. Someday I will get a CB walky talky and plug it into the Sena for my PGR work. Its not all bluetooth. As far as the securement just go to the hardware store and get some doublesided tape. Not sure why we need velcro if the idea is for it to stay in the helmet anyway. Whats on the back of the velcro? Doublesided tape.

Yep. Very sticky. You better have it where you want it located in the helmet - cuz it aint gonna move very easily
